📦 1. Defining Products and Services
Before creating a payment link, you should first define the products or services you offer. These items are reusable for both invoices and payment links.
Adding an Item
- Navigate to Payments > Products.
- Click + New Product.
- Enter the Product Name (e.g., "Consultation Fee" or "Annual Subscription").
- Set the Price, ensuring it is the full, pre-tax amount.
- Add a brief Description for client clarity, and click Save.
🎨 3. Customization and Payment Link Options
You have several options to customize the checkout experience for your clients, enhancing conversion and branding.
Key Configuration Fields
- Redirect URL: Set a page (like a thank you page) where the customer is sent immediately after a successful payment.
- Coupon Codes: Toggle this option to allow customers to apply promotional codes you have created in the Coupons section.
- Call to Action: Customize the text on the final payment button (e.g., "Buy Now," "Sign Up," "Pay Securely").
- Tax Application: Choose whether to automatically apply applicable sales tax or VAT rates based on the linked product settings.
🗑️ 5. Editing and Deleting Links (Coming Soon)
This section will guide you through making updates to existing payment links (e.g., changing the price or product) and archiving links that are no longer needed.
Status Management
- You can edit a link's details even after it has been shared, but existing transactions will retain the original terms.
- Deleting a link prevents all future payments through that specific URL.
