You can add new staff members to your Velocity 360 account and set specific permissions so they only access the information you want them to see.
Adding and Configuring a New Staff Member
- From your Velocity 360 dashboard, go to Settings.
- Click My Staff from the top navigation.
- To add a new staff member, click the + Add Employee button.
- Fill in the First Name, Last Name, Email, and Phone Number.
- Under Roles and Permissions, configure the following:
- User Role: Choose User for team members or Admin for team leaders with higher permissions.
- Data Visibility Scope: Choose All of records to let them see all data, or Only assigned data to restrict them to contacts or opportunities assigned to them.
- Review the detailed permissions list and toggle them On or Off. Below are some common recommendations:
- Account Settings: Generally Off to prevent changes to core settings.
- Automations: Typically Off to prevent accidental changes to workflows.
- Calendars: Usually On so they can manage their own calendar.
- Contacts & Conversations: Keep On if they need to see and communicate with contacts.
- Dashboard: Generally On for them to view performance metrics.
- Integrations: Keep On if they need to connect their external accounts.
- Marketing: Toggle On/Off depending on their role in managing campaigns.
- Opportunities: Keep On if they manage deals or sales pipelines.
- Once you've set all desired permissions, click Save.
