LinkedIn Campaign Creation

A comprehensive guide to creating, configuring, and launching Lead Generation Campaigns.

šŸš€ 1. Accessing Campaign Creation

Step 1 – Log into Velocity 360 Lead Gen

Ensure you are logged into the Lead Generation module of your Velocity 360 account.

Step 2 – Select Campaigns

Use the left side panel to navigate to the Campaigns section.

Step 3 – Open the Create Campaign Page

Click the Create Campaign button located in the top panel of the Campaigns screen.

šŸ› ļø 2. Choosing a Creation Method

Step 4 – Select Campaign Type

The left side panel will guide you through the campaign setup steps. At this stage, you choose your initial method.

AI Function: If you would like help writing your campaign, we suggest using the AI function.

Advanced User: If you already have a campaign created or prefer full manual control, select the I'm an advanced user tab.

Step 5 – Using the AI to Create a Campaign

When using the AI function, you will be prompted to answer questions to define your campaign, responding with the options provided at the bottom of the screen. If you wish to stop, use the Back arrow at the top left corner.

Step 6 – Using the I’m an Advanced User Option

If you select the Advanced User option, you will need to Name the Campaign and Save. You can use the Back arrow at the top left corner to exit this screen.

šŸ“¤ 3. Uploading and Mapping Leads

Step 7 – Choose Upload Option

Here you have several options to upload a list of leads into your Campaign.

Step 8 – Uploading the CSV

If you use the Upload a CSV option, dragging and dropping your file into the designated space will automatically take you to the next step.

Pro Tip:

If your data is currently in an Excel file, you must first convert it by using the "save as" function and selecting the CSV (Comma Separated Values) file type.

Step 9 – Mapping Data Headers

You must perform a check here to ensure your table headers (from the CSV) match the required Velocity 360 fields (Gen Type). If a field does not match, use the drop-down menu to update it to the correct Gen Type.

Important:

  • You can only have one of each title/Gen Type, or the mapping will fail.
  • If you need to go back, select the Back button on the top left corner.

Step 10 – Finalizing Upload

If everything looks correct, click Save data. If you run into an issue, you can use the top panel option to Upload again.

Step 11 – Data Verification

You can now verify that your data is mapped correctly, add more leads, or configure other list settings.

āš™ļø 4. Configuring and Launching Sequence

Step 12 – Campaign Configuration

Review the configuration options on this screen. Select what you need or proceed directly by clicking Save and Continue.

Step 13 – Creating the Sequence

For best practice, you may want to select Create from Scratch as each campaign structure may differ.

Step 14 – Starting the Sequence

Your campaign sequence must begin with a Send Connection Request action. You can then add subsequent steps to build out your outreach flow.

Step 15 – Choose/Create Sequence

After Step 1, you will choose or create the next message step in your sequence.

Step 16 – Writing the Message (Send Message)

In the Send message step, you will write your campaign message. The right side panel provides predicted ratings to help you write the best campaign. Click Done at the top right when finished.

Personalization: Use the bottom panel to help personalize your message to each individual recipient.

Live Rating: The score on the right side will change as you write your message, providing real-time feedback.

Step 17 – Editing and Continuing the Sequence

This view is the start of your sequence. You can edit the time span between steps, or use the Trash can (delete) or Pencil (edit) icons to modify a step. Continue adding steps as needed, and once finished, click Save and Continue. Use Start over at the top if you need to wipe the sequence.

Step 18 – Review and Launch

You are now on the final step. Complete your review, and when ready, click Start campaign.

Step 19 – Managing the Launched Campaign

If you are not ready to launch, select the Back button at the top left of the page. Once on the main campaign list, you can use the Play button to start your campaign, or click the three dots to the right for a drop-down menu with more options to start, edit, view, or delete the campaign.

Note on Campaign Status:

A campaign must be set to 'Active' via the play button or the three-dot menu options to begin sending messages and connection requests to your uploaded leads.
