A step-by-step guide to viewing, creating, and customizing your Dashboards.

📊 1. Viewing Existing Dashboards

Step 1 – Log into Velocity 360

Ensure you have logged into your Velocity 360 account with the necessary permissions to access and manage dashboards.

Step 2 – Open Dashboard from the left side panel

Step 3 – Understand Dashboard Controls

On the top of the page, you will find a drop-down menu where you can select from all your available Dashboards. Note the key controls:

Square: This is the dropdown menu and the option to create New Dashboards.

Arrow: Use this to set the date frame for your Dashboard. (Note: This selection will reset every time you log in.)

Circle: This is where you can edit the currently loaded Dashboard (see Step 6).

✨ 2. Creating a New Dashboard

Step 4 – Pinning a Dashboard

When viewing the list of available dashboards, look for the Pin icon () next to the dashboard name. Using this will pin your desired Dashboard to the top of the list for quick access.

Step 5 – Choosing a Starting Method

When creating a new Dashboard, you can select from three starting points: use a Template, Clone an existing Dashboard, or create something completely new. If you decide you do not want to proceed, you can use the back arrow in the top left corner.

✏️ 3. Editing and Saving Changes

Step 6 – Entering Edit Mode

To make changes to a loaded Dashboard, click the Pencil Icon on the top right side of the screen.

Step 7 – Making and Saving Edits

Once you have opened the editing panel, you can update the Dashboard's name, add new widgets, and configure existing widgets. Be sure to SAVE changes if you update anything, or you can select Cancel if you need to come back to edit later.

Pro Tip:

To get the most out of your dashboard, explore the different widget types and configure them with the appropriate data sources and filters for your specific business metrics.
