Business Profile & Branding Setup

How to configure your company's core information, branding, and account settings.

🏢 Core Business Information

This information is crucial for system defaults, professional contracts, and ensuring your internal records are accurate.

Name, Address, and Timezone Setup

  1. From your dashboard, go to Settings, then click Business Profile.
  2. Update your Company Name, Contact Email, and Phone Number.
  3. Fill in your primary Address (Street, City, State, Zip).
  4. Set the default Time Zone for your business to ensure all scheduling is accurate.
  5. Under Authorized Representative, ensure the primary contact details (typically the owner or CEO) are correct.
  6. Click Update Business Profile at the bottom to save all changes.

🔗 Setting up a Branded Domain

A branded domain allows you to use your own web address (e.g., **app.yourcompany.com**) instead of the default Velocity360 URL for client links like calendars and forms.

CNAME Configuration Steps

  1. In Settings > Business Profile, scroll down and click on Branded Domain.
  2. Enter your desired subdomain (e.g., `app.yourdomain.com`). Click Add Domain.
  3. Select Add record manually to get the required CNAME record details.
  4. Log in to your domain provider's (e.g., GoDaddy, Cloudflare) DNS management settings.
  5. Add a new CNAME record:
    • Set the **Host** to the value provided in Velocity 360.
    • Paste the **Required Value** into the "Points to" or "Value" field.
  6. Save the CNAME record in your domain provider's settings.
  7. Return to Velocity 360 and click Verify Records. (Note: DNS verification can take a few minutes to sync globally.)
