▶️ 1. Bulk Actions Overview & Execution

This video demonstrates how to efficiently apply mass updates to multiple contact records simultaneously, typically after filtering your contact list or selecting a Smart List.

Step-by-Step Execution

  1. From your Velocity 360 dashboard, click Contacts in the left sidebar.
  2. Filter your list or select a Smart List to target a specific group of contacts.
  3. Select the contacts using the checkboxes. Click the master checkbox at the top to select all contacts on the current page.
  4. Click the Bulk Actions dropdown menu located above the contact list.
  5. Choose your desired action (e.g., Add Tags, Add to Campaign, Assign User, or Delete Contacts).
  6. Configure the parameters for the chosen action (e.g., selecting the specific tags or campaign).
  7. Review the summary and click Proceed to initiate the mass update.

Tip:

For large contact lists, the Bulk Action may take a few minutes to complete. You will receive a notification once the process is finished.

🏷️ 2. Bulk Tagging Examples (Segmentation)

Quickly segment groups of contacts based on their list membership, lead source, or recent activity to improve targeting.

Tagging Use Cases

  • Add Tag "High-Value": Apply this tag to all contacts in a "Q4 Leads" Smart List that have a Deal Value greater than $5,000. This simplifies reporting and future campaign targeting.
  • Remove Tag "Stale Lead": Remove this tag from contacts who recently opened an email campaign or visited your pricing page, moving them back into an active pipeline view.

📧 3. Bulk Emailing Examples (Mass Communication)

Send targeted, one-off communications to specific filtered lists directly from the Bulk Actions menu.

Emailing Use Cases

  • Send Product Announcement: Target a Smart List of "Existing Customers" with an email about a new feature launch to drive adoption.
  • Send Holiday Greeting: Select all contacts in your primary list and send a seasonal promotional or celebratory message.
  • Send Re-engagement Email: Send a custom email to contacts filtered as "Inactive for 90 days" to try and reactivate them before deleting the contact.

🔄 4. Bulk Status Updates (Pipeline Management)

Quickly move a segmented group of contacts to a new stage in your sales or marketing pipeline. This is crucial for keeping your CRM data accurate and triggering subsequent automation.

Status Update Use Cases

  • Mark as "Contacted": After importing a new list of leads, bulk update their status from "New Lead" to "Contacted" to begin the qualification process.
  • Mark as "Closed/Lost": Filter all leads with no activity in the last six months and bulk update their status to "Closed/Lost" to clean up your active pipeline view.
